Catie Stern, Ph.D. earned her doctorate in clinical psychology through the San Diego State University/University of California, San Diego Joint Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology in 1996. Her internship and a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology were completed through the Brown University Clinical Psychology Training Consortium. She was formerly a staff neuropsychologist in the Department of Pediatrics at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry & Human Behavior at the Brown University School of Medicine.
Since 2002 she has been with Family Health Associates, where she presently is the Director of Neuropsychology. Dr. Stern's clinical work involves comprehensive neuropsychological assessments of children, adolescent and young adults. Common referral questions include attention disorders, learning disabilities, psychiatric condition, head injuries, neurological and developmental disorders, as well as medical conditions that impact cognitive, behavioral and or social-emotional functioning.
